Fund Manager

Ocean Dial Asset Management Limited ("ODAM") is the Fund Manager to the Company. ODAM is a UK fund management company, regulated by the UK Financial Services Authority. It is owned by Caledonia Investments plc, a listed UK investment trust.

Shahil Shah, aged 31, is responsible for the day to day management of the investments. He has a Masters in Commerce and Finance from Mumbai University and is a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst, India. He joined India Advisory Partners Pvt Limited in Mumbai in 2005 and worked as an analyst in the investment team. He transferred to London in 2010 and became fund manager in January 2011.

Jeremy Pratt, aged 62, is Chief Operating Officer. and is responsible for ensuring that day to day operational matters for the Company are properly carried out by the Manager and the Administrators in accordance with the directions of the Board and the relevant regulatory requirements. He is a Chartered Accountant and has over 20 years experience in the financial services industry.

Investment Adviser

The Fund Manager receives research information and non-binding advice from Ocean Dial Advisers Pvt Limited, based in Mumbai. The advisory team is led by:

David Cornell, aged 42, joined the Fund Manager in January 2010, as the investment manager responsible for the day to day management of the Company’s assets. In January 2011 he transferred to India to lead the Investment Advisory team in Mumbai. After leaving the British Army in 1995 he worked at Flemings and Salomons before joining BDT Investment Management Limited in 2004 to launch the BDT Global Emerging Market Fund. In April 2008 he moved to New Star Institutional Managers to co-manage the New Star Emerging Market Fund and the global equity portfolios’ growing exposure to emerging markets. David transferred to Henderson Global Investors along with the rest of the Emerging Market team following New Star’s acquisition by Henderson in early 2009.
